Inspired by Disney Pixar’s Inside Out

A movie worth watching!

momeefriendsli

Earlier this Summer, Disney released what some are calling its most successful Pixar movie, “Inside Out”.  The movie touches upon many important topics like family and friends, growing up and coming of age, emotions and feelings, and is presented in such an inventive way that children can easily learn about feelings, and how they affect their behavior and ultimately their choices. Momee Friends have been so inspired by the movie, that we are devoting an entire week to the important message and lessons it delivers.

Message from Student Teacher

I cannot begin to describe how lucky I feel to have been given the opportunity to student teach in Lisa Navarra’s classroom. Not only have her students touched my heart, but so has she. On a professional and personal level, Lisa has taught me so much about classroom management, creating positive classroom climates and proximity. From the moment I stepped into her classoom, I began learning and never stopped. Lisa is a spectuacular educator both to her students and to me. She is more than a teacher to me, she is a role model. I can only hope that I become the educator that she is. In my eyes, she has already impacted the world with her passion for teaching and her passion for learning from her students every day. She has touched my life and I hope to share the knowldege that she has given me with other educators and with my future students.
