Message from Student Teacher
I cannot begin to describe how lucky I feel to have been given the opportunity to student teach in Lisa Navarra’s classroom. Not only have her students touched my heart, but so has she. On a professional and personal level, Lisa has taught me so much about classroom management, creating positive classroom climates and proximity. From the moment I stepped into her classoom, I began learning and never stopped. Lisa is a spectuacular educator both to her students and to me. She is more than a teacher to me, she is a role model. I can only hope that I become the educator that she is. In my eyes, she has already impacted the world with her passion for teaching and her passion for learning from her students every day. She has touched my life and I hope to share the knowldege that she has given me with other educators and with my future students.

Innovative Classroom Strategies National Conference
CBC was a breakout speaker in the national conference for Innovative Classroom Strategies held in Chicago last week. The session’s title was, “Classroom Communication: It’s Not Just Talk!” The attendees consisted of administrators, teachers and mental health staff. Their level of participation and commitment was inspiring!
